PUSH TUBE SAMPLING (DT325Geoprobe®)

Continuous, undisturbed soil samples for Environmental Sampling.

The dual tube’s unique combination of cutting shoe, sheath, and sample retainer allows efficient recovery of samples in formations ranging from plastic clays to saturated sands. 

It’s designed to quickly recover soil samples well below the water table. Direct push sampling with duel tube ensures that the bore is cased during sampling preventing cross contamination and ensure the bore does not collapse.

DT325 direct push system that allows practical and efficient dual tube sampling using Geoprobe®3.25 in & 3.5 in. probe rods.  The DT325 is primarily used under Geoprobe® models 66, 77, & 78 Series machines.

Liners for these systems are clear PVC with an integral core catcher fused to one end.  This configuration maximizes sample recovery while minimizing entrance losses.  It’s also proven to be very robust in use. 

The DT325 Liner Cutter, permits safe, simple, and quick cutting of the liners for sample logging. These Soil Sampling Systems are robust and durable.

Numac has Geoprobe machines operating full time in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. We have used the system on thousands of sites across Australia and SE Asia. Generally speaking the system is limited to depths of < 12mbg using the 77 & 78 series Geoprobe machines. Some formations  in Australia that allow depths up to 30mbgl however these are very rare, it is far more common to hit refusal under 10m than it is to go over.
