Legion Drilling geotech drillers have the equipment and expertise to provide comprehensive geotechnical surveys including geotechnical core drilling soil investigation, Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) and Shelby tube sampling for soils. All of our highly skilled geotech drillers hold Certificate III in Drilling Operations and a minimum Class 1 Water-Well Licence. Our diamond drilling services are suitable for both geotechnical and exploration purposes, with conventional NMLC through to PQ3 Wireline drilling available. We also offer hydraulic packer testing with inflatable single and straddle packer systems, as well as vibrating wire piezometers and other geotechnical equipment for precision instrument installation.
Our capabilities extend to cone and piezocone penetration testing (CPT & CPTu), which provide precision geotechnical data and drilling capacity in a single machine. Legion Drilling also offers seismic CPTu (SCPTu) services, which measure both compression and shear wave velocities (Vp, Vs) in mine tailings and soils.
