Numac Drilling becomes Legion Drilling 2023

In early 2021 the assets of Numac Drilling Services Australia were purchased by Legion Drilling Pty Ltd. Legion Drilling was created for this buyout by Numac’ s long time General Manager. As part of the purchase agreement Legion acquired the rights to continue using the Numac name. This helped ensure a smooth a transition through this period as the Numac brand has a strong following after 20 years in the Australian Drilling Industry. There were no staff changes nor were there any changes to the companies core service offering around the Environmental, Geotechnical and Sonic drilling sectors. For 2023 we will be integrating the use of the Legion branding. For the rest of 2023 you will see both brands interchanged as we faze in Legion drilling and faze our Numac. That’s a hell of a lot of Truck and rig stickers that need changing and its going to take us some time to get through it.

For the most part this changes nothing for our clients, suppliers or employees as they have all been dealing exclusively with Legion Drilling for since the changeover. We are looking forward to this new chapter under a new banner and we are working harder than ever to raise the bar in site investigation and in situ remediation.
